Location
The Tustrup burial mounds can be a little difficult to find using a standard navigation system. The access point is unmarked and lies opposite Gl. Fjellerupvej 21, 8961 Allingåbro, Denmark.
There is parking near the information centre, a short distance from the burial mounds.

Tustrup passage graves
The Tustrup burial complex is one of the most significant prehistoric sites in eastern Jutland. The passage grave is associated with the Funnel Beaker culture and dates to around 3200 BC. A passage tomb typically consists of a narrow passage built from large stones, leading to one or more burial chambers. These structures were built using megaliths and smaller stones and are characteristic of the Neolithic period.
The site is a remarkable place to visit, not only for its archaeological importance but also for the way the ancient stones sit within the surrounding landscape.
