Good landscape photography begins with a combined passion for the great outdoors and great light. I disagree with those who claim, that good landscape photography requires locations that are away from civilization. For me its about timing, and light. For its mostly a sacrificed getting up early hours, often at freezing dark night which isn’t all that appealing, but its so rewarding, that i never regret it.
It sums up to a Chilled Nordic mindset, with a passionate heart beating for melancholy. My favorite time of the year is when fall turns into winter. When all the conditions coexist, this time gives the best pictures. Denmark, Iceland and Northern Norway are filled with impressions which has strong roots in my heart.
